The "Makanda by the Sea" hotel was amazing! The staff working on the resort were super friendly and made us feel right at home taking care of us at every single turn and making us smile with each opportunity. The happiness they have is genuine, they are just living great lives! The food, Oh boy, it was so delicious! Every meal was a treat. Theres a lot to unpack about this place so lets start with my room's design - see pics below:

I stayed in the luxury squite for 2 that came with a 10ft+ deep private pool. Everything from the architecture of the building to the design of the room was breathtaking and beyond my expectations. The entire resort is like being in a futuristic, high-tech tree house.

Id be robbing you if I didn't mention that the resort also comes with its own private beach attached 😄...what more can you ask for right.

The whole place had this cool, unique vibe being in the middle of a rain forest that I've never seen anywhere else. Talk about exotic, sure, there were a few harmless bugs in the room, which was a bit scary at first, but hey, that's nature for you, right? Plus, it kinda added to the adventure! Remember, Makanda is in the middle of a rain forest that is a UNESCO World Heritage site so consider nature personally apart of your stay.

In addition to the occasional unexpected visitors of wildlife, the beauty of the hotel's resturant was also unbeatable. It felt like a dream staying there and each day was a new experience with all kinds of unpredictable activities scheduled for me and my wife by the Hotel Staff.
